401 auth error

Post by Spider210 »

I had to renew my mj service today, when I did they told me to connect the mj to make sure it works, well I did that and then disconencted it.

I always used mjproxy instead with my sipclient and now since i renewed I get 401 auth error like instantly when I try to connect with sip but the mj its self works and makes calls fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Could they have changed my sip credentials /password with the update to my mj dongle?

One sure way to verify...try extracting your sip creds using the latest method described in the forums. Can't hurt.

Now I got this screen on MJ

"Congratulations, you were fortunate enough to receive the latest magicJack hardware. We are catching up with the magicJack software and will release an upgrade by the end of the month.

To continue, insert your magicJack into a USB port on your computer, then click the magicJack icon."

No luck on getting sip either :(
