This is very annoying. I liked MJ a lot of first, but I am starting to hate it. Contacted customer support and lost several hours of my precious time.
When you try calling my phone, 3 times out of 4 you get a fast busy signal. It has nothing to do with plugging or unplugging the device, as I activated call forwarding and it does exactly the same.
Several other people are encountering the same problem, mostly in Canada.
To those technician working for MJ: Post at least a reply so we know we are going to have a fix someday. If you keep silent on such grave issues, the viral marketing machine will start, and it won't be to recommend it. Magic Jack, stop hiding under a rock, this is not the way to do business on the internet.

MJ tech support seem to be pretty useless. Each person I talk to gets me to do the exact same thing over and over. Unplug, plug it back in into a different usb port, etc etc.
Tried calling my phone from my google voice number (a US number) and it goes through.
I don't know what is going on, but obviously this MagicJack isn't a reliable alternative at all. The software is a POS.

Believe me, if bad-mouthing was going to take down the mJ machine, it would have done so already. But you wouldn't know. You just posted two new threads, and probably didn't bother to read any of the others. And this forum has been around for how long, and doing quite a bit of trash-talking about mJ?
