My error came from that the system date was backdated. Apparently MJ are using new certificates that doesn't cope w. this, or maybe it's Windows with expired certificates.

I was upgraded during the night and right now I can't get the dongles to work.
First I had error code 401 then 404, so I tried register, but it was already done, so that didn't help and now I'm stuck on error code 20.
My Firewall as well as antivirus are turned off, and I have connected directly to the modem, so it has nothing to do with the router.
I've tried to change the DNS Serviers to what MJ is recommending and I have also lowered my IE security to accept all cookies, as well as authorized https://reg.talk4free.com and my.magicjack.com connections in the Privacy settings.
I also have tried to updated my drivers and also to downgrade to prior version
Basically it seens like I have tried everything I could find in the various threads, on error code subjects.
Nothing seem to help, Still at error code 20:(
Has anyone experienced this with this latest software and found a fix?
Thanks in advance,
arc

By the way did anyone else notice the change in myMJ - we have been assigned a subscription# : 14 characters starting with "A92103...", could this be a new user ID?

I called MJ and they will try a refresh, hopfully this will do.
Bradley: Hello, how may I help you?

Ola: I was upgraded during the night and right now I can't get the dongles to work. Bradley: Alright.

Bradley: May I have your magicJack phone number?

Ola: 617 xxx xxxx resp 617 xxx xxxx

Ola: Everything has worked well for maybe 3 years until I received this latest up date. Is there a reset needed on you end?

Bradley: Thank you.

Bradley: Have you disabled your firewall and anti-virus for the meantime?

Ola: I mentioned that above. no firewll, no antivirus and no router

Bradley: Alright.

Bradley: Is your magicjack currently plugged in into your computer right now?

Ola: no I'm at work

Ola: I read that sometimes it requires a reboot on your side

Bradley: Yes.

Bradley: So it is not plugged in at this moment?

Bradley: If yes, I will refresh it here in my end.

Ola: so I would appreciate if you could try to reboot these two numbers and hopefully it will work. Otherwise I have to call back tonight.

Ola: I appreciate the refresh, so hopefully this will resolve my issues. Thanks.

Bradley: Thank you for waiting.

Bradley: I have already refreshed both numbers.

Ola: Great, I'll try once I'm home. Thanks for the help.

Bradley: All you need to do, once you have the device just simply plug it in to your computer and see if it works.

Bradley: Is there anything else I may help you with today?

Ola: Great thanks and Good Bye

Bradley: My pleasure to assist you.

Bradley: Thank you for stopping by to chat, I hope I did a good job at addressing your concerns. Please take a second to answer a one question survey about the service I provided. Please click the "close" button on the top right of this screen and the survey will appear. Thanks again!

Ola: Will do, Thanks
PS I gave Bradly an excellent rating. He did listen to what I said, and did what I asked for. Great. Hopefully this will do it.

I was going to mention a "refresh" until I read your second post. Let us know if that worked.
