magicJack and number hunting?

Post by Rossm »

Hi All,

I am a noob here and searched and didn't find a clear answer to my question about magicJack and number hunting. Here is our situation.

We have 4 land lines going into a ESI phone system. We need to add 4 more lines and according to our phone tech we could plumb in maginJack lines. However, we need the magicJack numbers to be added to a hunting sequence.

Does anyone know if it is possible to somehow set up a hunting sequence for multiple maginJack lines?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

Foolish to rely on MJ lines for any meaningful business purpose!
Each mj will require its own dedicated computer.
Hunting/rollover, etc are controlled by your internal phone system. Once they are installed, each with their own PC, treat them like any other PSTN CO line.

You'll be sorry
Good Luck

If you're talking about inbound call hunting from line 1, line 2, line 3, etc., that's programmed in the Central Office switch. Your MJ lines cannot be added to this hunt sequence because their not resident in the same CO switch.
