Is there any way to use a voice changer/morpher with magic j

I have been spoofed on the phone twice in the last year and I was wondering if anybody has used some type of program that was effective with magic jack?

I've never used a voice changer, but I imagine (and somebody please tell me if I'm wrong) it involves just simply plugging your phone into a voice changer device first, then run a separate phone cord from the device to the MJ dongle. There may be software that may do something similar, but I don't believe it could interface with your MJ softphone.

I have seen some advertisements online that will say can be used with voip but I was hoping that someone would have some first hand knowledge of a program and some tips on how to use it.
