E911 doesn't update in XP but does in Win7!

My MJ after the last update has yellow button for E911 information. It used to be green. I don't know what happened.

I then took one of my two MJ and put it into my Win7 machine and updated it. The E911 information updated just liek that.

Is it a defect of XP for E911?

Don't think so. I have Windows 7 and haven't had a green 911 for a long time.

Is there a way to make it turn green? I think that MJ should be getting their E911 working correctly. I think they may get sued if something does happen and E911 on MJ isn't' working!

I haven't had green since the big update along with the "magicTalk" vaporware talk a couple months ago. Have run mine on both XP and Win7. You just got lucky! Better buy a lottery ticket... lol

Not to beat a dead horse, but it has been stated a number of times in here that yellow DOESN'T mean it isn't working. I'm not sure I would recommend it, but people have tested it and called and it worked fine when it was on yellow.

And Dan and his lawyers have enough 911 disclaimers in the TOS that suing them would also be like beating a dead horse.
