It was such a delight to see the independents in our country restore sanity to the Congress and state legislatures around the country.
In my own great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which will now be under complete anti-Communist control effective this coming January, we may now be able to get the full Castle Doctrine legislation we've been petitioning our State House for more than two years. The worthless Communists in the State House have been stomping all over this legislation at every turn to ensure that the rights of criminals (such as a murderers and rapists) are not endangered when they commit their horrific crimes.
I hope there are others out there who are as delighted as I!
You probably don't know the worst of it, if you don't live here. I'm convinced California has the stupidest electorate on the planet. I seldom get this fired up, but everything I voted for, lost and lost big.
At 12.4% stated unemployment, Californian's voted 61% AGAINST Proposition 23 which would put a temporary moratorium on the job-killing Global Warming initiative.
And then it goes downhill from there. We're doomed.

I think the voters were getting ahead of Proposition 19 and started enjoying pot before it was voted legal. That's about the only way I can see them voting in Brown for Governor and giving that freedom-hating Communist, Boxer, another six-year term.

Oh, yeah. And Governor Moonbeam is back.
I'm so sorry that things went so badly for you in California. All I can say is that I'm glad as Hell that I don't live there! I realize that's not much of a consolation though.
Lisa, I started to write a reply but if I kept going I was going to cry myself to sleep tonight! Thank you for your thoughts. One of the things that makes this country great is the ability to vote with our feet.
Not sure where, but other parts of the country are starting to look pretty good about now.
Come to Florida. We elected a "non crook" who bought the Governorship with $73million of his golden parachute when he was fired from his healthcare company.
Darned Californians must've been smoking pot when they voted (and I was born and raised there)....
And Nevada. Holy crap. The Union-Mafia threatened their casino employees to vote for Reid or else. AND non-English-speaking Latinos were told to vote for Reid.
But the good ol' U.S. of A. is looking a mighty pretty shade of red. 2012 is just around the corner.

I would agree, but the marijuana initiative, Prop 19, is the only one I was against the didn't pass. I'm amazed the addle-brained voters didn't rubber stamp it right along with all the others.
A VERY inconvenient truth for Al Gore... don't know if anyone saw this, but I thought it typified the hypocrisy. Also, I would like to propose a contest for the best caption of the accompanying picture!
