Re: Best Powered USB hubs to use
This is the one I use as well as many other users on here. In fact I "believe" MJ even recommends this one too.jackedin wrote:Hello,

I have seen it on Ebay for less but with this guy in CA. you get good service if you have a problem.

I use this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010L ... ss_product
It works perfectly for me!
My review is under the name Lys.

I think that is a MJ problem as I have to do that as well from time to time.tsmith wrote:I bought a D-Link 4-port powered USB before I knew about the one Joe recommends. It works fine most of the time, but every now and again I have to re-plug the MJ for the system to see it at boot-up.
I seem to remember MJ recommends reseating its dongle from time to time. I THINK I saw it on their FAQ and if not somewhere on their web page a long time ago.
Not a big deal except that is when one now gets the MagicTalk screen and the MJ icon back on the desktop. I use the quick startup for MJ which bypasses the "One minute of blah blah blah..." So I have to delete the icon and the MJ Cdloader every time that happens ( which is not very often, MAYBE once every few weeks or so)
