That's a tough one to answer. The MJ network is more mature, but since they have let some servers stay beyond max capacity, it seems to mean they care less.johnlvs2run wrote:I sure hope so, since that's the kind that I have.bitstopjoe wrote:Hey Wiz, will the duo work on a combo DSL Modem/Router?? I'm thinking of getting a 2nd Duo, for a 2nd line and number.
I was considering to get a thin client tonight for the MJ, but the Duo is less expensive overall.
How is the comparison with reliability and voice quality?
Is there any reason to have one of each, vs two of the same?
The NT network is still prone to increasingly less frequent problems, and has drastically improved over recent months. They seem much more eager to please the customer.
I would rather have 2 Duos than 2 MJ's, but having one of each could make sense. If one provider is having an outage, then they other is available.
If you don't have a cell as backup, then it may be smarter to have one of each. However, if you have a cell (even a prepaid one, like me), then I would suggest getting the second Duo.
When both are functioning properly, the voice quality is the same.
