The background of my issue is that my majicJack kept disconnecting after a few seconds of call activity and when placing calls. I read on this forum that I should flash the firmware if you had a linksys router which I do (WRT54GS) so i flashed it with the dd-wrt version and the issue is now resolved. However, a new issue has arose and that is that I have cracking with a pause on all of my calls. I did not have this before flashing the firmware. Is there a way to improve the flow of the voip communication through the router so the call runs through smoothly?

Other quick things to try are setting the MJ process priority to high and using a powered usb hub. Before buying a powered hub use one of the hubs on the rear of your computer and try using another computer if it's possible to see if the same problem occurs. Good Luck
