No sound in browser

I installed Magic Jack and it has totally messed up my computer.

I now have absolutely no sound in Firefox, even though I have reinstalled firefox and uninstalled magic jack.

I would appreciate any solutions.

Restart your magicjack and then go into sound settings in windows and I bet that your sound card has not been selected. Select your sound card for windows and then open magicJack and select telephone.
