Now be nice Mr. OBi. We don't take to outsider smart-alecs around here. We MAY cut you some slack since you are for the time being using MJ as a backup. But for your information "msgicjack plus" is the secret code name for the 2nd gen magicJackPlus. So there.

Of course, everyone knows that they won't really be putting out the Plus anyway. Instead there will be an announcement ANY DAY NOW that they are just giving up since the OBi has for all practical purposes killed off the whole magicJack product line.

And yes I am now waiting for the msgicjack plus which I hear is MUCH better than the MagicJack Plus, the Ooma and Obi, COMBINED!!!. hehehe

I was just making light of the orig poster spelling MJ wrong in his heading.. He wrote the msgicjack plus.

MJ Plus, eh? A day late, and a nickel short. I'm already using netTalk Duo and have no problems with it other than the fact that I can't record a personal outgoing message for voice mail.

Call quality is fine.

Too bad Dan had to be a jerk about letting us use ATA before. Instead, he should have introduced MJ Plus before killing ATA usage.

Just my opinion.
