problem with latest magic update

So the other day, I had installed an update to magic jack software. At first it was working fine. I then realized that I could not tell when I was getting incoming calls. As it turned out, all incoming calls were not ringing on my phone.
for the record,
Magic jack was set to telephone, telephone was connected properly and everything else pertaining to my phone was configured properly. I then confirmed it was infact that particular update when I rolled back to an earlier update and my phone rang perfectly. when I contacted the tech support live chant agent, the agents pretty much refused to look into magic jack software being the issue and continued to say that I might have done something wrong on my end when that wasn't the case. they had me install and uninstall everythign from the tigerjet phone drivers to magic jack and install it all again and remove registry keys.
After everything was installed, my phone was not even showing up in my sound and it created even more problems. Basically after that experience, I was certain it was in fact this particular release.
Anyone else having this issue with the current update. If so, have you found a work around or a fix or a patch that fixes it.

If you can do a system restore to a point before your problems started. Just out of curiosity are you running windows 7?

Do you have the MagicFeatures plugin installed? If so, there is an update to this plugin that fixed this problem for me.
