I registered my magic jack overseas.
Now my issue is, even though I registered the MJ but i never got an email with my password. So now when i try to use the MJ it asks for my email and passoword. So since i did not get a password I put my email address and asked the password to be sent to that but then they say the 'email address was not found'. So no i am tototally stuck. I can reregister as well and they say it has already been registered. Is it because i registered it overseas?
Please help, what can I do now? BTW, I did get a long number *0100567*****
what is that? just to clarify I have not received any emails from Magic jack so far.
Please help

Re: Email Address not found !!!
As I mentioned in your other similar posting elsewhere (not a great idea to double post a question, since you can easily get conflicting answers from those not reading both posts), that appears to be your magicTalk number they gave you when you installed magicTalk. And it will NOT work with magicJack. As someone pointed out in the other post, they are 2 totally different systems with 2 totally different phone numbers.wsb123 wrote:I registered my magic jack overseas.

If you don't remember being asked to pick an area code in the registration process, I don't think your magicJack is registered, or it wasn't done to its correct conclusion, or it can't be done correctly overseas. Your daughter did pay for the first year when she bought the device at a retail store, because the first year is included in the initial price. But it's possible she should have registered it for you before sending it to you. Someone else may have a better idea, but you may have to send it back to her and have her register it for you. At the least, if you are still within 30 days of her buying it, you may want her to return it saying it doesn't work right, get another device and start over with having her register it before sending it to you.
As a side note, your best bet could be what Kevin suggested in your other posting and go to magicjack.com and go to the customer service chat area with the "customer care/live agent" link at the bottom of the page. This is one thing they are sometimes good at, and should be able to tell you if it is registered or not and whether or not you can do it in Australia.
