I just bought this MJ and for two days been trying to get a new number and there is No numbers available for AC 613 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

What is up with this?

Well one would think one would do a little detective work prior to buying MJ to see if the number ( area code) you are looking for is even avail. All you had to do was go to the MJ site and search... Like this:

Well, I thought since two of my friends bought MJ and a number in the same area code I'm in that I could also buy one.

BTW, the MJ site has area code 613 listed as available. However, they confirmed today after contacting them through chat that they sold out and that they are trying to get more. They did not want to say how much time that would take.

I would suggest you don't tell people to rely on the MJ site as in many cases it is not updated or correct.

Regardless, I would have still checked first to see if the area code I wanted was there and then bitch later when it said yes and it wasn't....As opposed to blindly buying something without checking first. But hey that's me... Hell I did that 3 years ago first before I bought mine.

And? I'm sure AT&T and Qwest and .... might have it available as well. Doesn't do much good to someone who just bought a MJ and is looking for it to use on their MJ.

The OP has 2 friends with the 613 area code on MJ but it is now apparently sold out. How long ago did your cousin buy his NetTalk? Maybe he bought the last 613 they had available, or maybe they too have sold out since he bought his.

So, no offense, but unless you have an up-to-date source of number availability from NetTalk themselves, or your cousin bought it today and they told him there was plenty available, the information is pretty much useless.
