Just wanted to note I have to manually shut down MJ either with Task Manager or with a close-out on MJ screen before my computer will go into sleep mode, which is annoying as it takes so long to shut down.
Also, when I start up again, the login time is sometimes ridiculously long, upwards of 5 mintues sometimes, before I can use the computer for anything else. This is on an XP operating system with 1 GB of RAM. All other programs work fine with this setup.
Calls work OK when set up and quality is good... just frustrated with the interface!
Me too. If I unplug the mJ after the computer is off, next time I boot will be quick. Then, when I reach a pause I plug it in so it has the computer virtually to itself for startup. Not ideal.

Even though I use a thin client for my MJ, they are a dieing option now that MJ+ has been released. Unless you want to use the thin client for over duties than just MJ or want to use options like MagicFeatures then there is no real reason to use a thin client over a MJ+.

I understand, just saying that getting MJ off your personal computer or using MJ+ without the use of an computer/thin client is a better option.
