Porting Issues

I have been trying to port my land line for over two weeks and the usual screen I see is "Try again later". Although 3 times I have made it to "Complete My Purchase" and this error pops us...

Log_id (72964161);ORA-200099:portpackage.add_pon invalid SPID (2288) Oracle__magicjack:live)

What does it mean?

You are most likely in an area where porting isn't currently available.

If you start a type chat session with MagicJack support they may confirm this or offer some other option.

I really hate sending anyone to type chat support but sometimes they can help.

I'd rather get by butt kicked than to talk to another mj person again! I've been trying to port my number for over 2 weeks and have got the screen that says not available about 350 times... I'm not joking! I've told them the error I get after the payment option and they asked me who my carrier is and the phone number with account number. They said to just keep trying. I'm really not sure what to do to fix the situation.

I don't know if this will help you or not but if you say AT&T is the number carrier it goes into the system easier.

If you get it to accept the port,it may take 10 full days but they will track down the correct carrier and move your number to MJ.

I had a voipvoip.com and they ported me in 3 days.
