How does the new Magic Jack work

The new magic jack that plugs into a electric socket is a mystery to me can anyone give me idea of how it works ?

My mind is running on high speed thinking of all the possibilities of how it works and if the internet is in the electric grid what is is ?

I need to know how it operates so I can give my brain a rest.

Help!

WOW really??? After all the posts in this forum, some with pictures too.., Google search, MJ's own web page and the countless web pages on the net containing articles about the Plus, you have no idea how it works? WOW..
IT PLUGS INTO YOUR ROUTER VIA CAT5 TO ACCESS THE INTERNET...
It plugs into the wall for power...

Not sure what is causing your brain to be at unrest..

Now shall I explain how a can opener works too?

I was telling someone about mj plus how great it is and he told me he was getting one and since it plug into the electric he was getting rid of comcast internet. I explained to him how it worked and he still told me it need no internet. Watch two days after he gets it he will call MJ and demand a new. unit.
