Got Email to sign up for beta online tv. After a bunch of hassle, signed up. Not sure what I got, looks like links to already available video content.

The Net Talk TV is a huge disappointment. They were talking like they were working on a new piece of hardware that somehow enabled the user to get the kind of a-la-carte tv programming (just the channels you actually want to watch and nothing else) that none of the cable or dish companies are willing to offer.
What they delivered was a rebranded Hulu, which requires you to use the Google Chrome browser, presumably so they can insert ads in the videos, and no Chromium based browser will block video ads (as opposed to Firefox which does so easily with the AdBlock Plus plugin)
Serious bait and switch. Good thing they didn't charge me for it.
