No Audio found error. Help!!

Post by HaiNou »

Alright, I used to have my MJ on an old Dell Dimension 4100. I decided to move it to a better computer.

Both have XP.

After installing MJ I get "No Audio found!" error message. I get dial tone and when I dial numbers dial tone is still there. My original audio card didn't have drivers so I DLed working ones from M$ update. Still to no avail. Installed a different audio card and drivers installed right away. Even updated them from M$, still nothing. My sound actually works fine!

What's wrong??

Edit: Well I decided for the time being since the new PC didn't work with my MJ I'll take it back to the old one. Wrong. It now has the same error. So that means it's not the PC that's having the issue.

WTF? Help please >.<

Run http://upgrades.magicjack.com/upgrade/m ... kSetup.exe
Not work yet?
- Open Device Manager, uninstall USB Internet Phone by TigerJet under Sound...
- Right-click on Disk Devices, click on Scan for hardware changes, new driver will be installed.

You should reinstall your sound driver again and scan your PC with updated antivirus which can be a cause of corrupt software installation if issued not fixed then take Dell Technical Support.

Here's a quick fix for that issue:
Open device manager and under Sounds and video games controllers look for USB Internet phone by tigerjet once found right click on it and click on uninstall, if it will ask for a reboot unplug and replug your magicJack to a different USB port, once uninstalled right click on Sounds and video games controllers then click on scan for hardware changes, restart dial pad and the error should be gone.
In your Control Panel make sure Handset ( USB Internet phone by tigerjet ) is not set as default.
