Android app...

I was told by MJ chat tech support that an Android app is in the works. No release date so it might as well be vaporware. Does anyone have the inside scoop on this?

If it is like most of the MJ promises it should be available the second Tuesday of next week

I love my magicjacks.. I have 5 of them. I would really like to use a Magicjack app for android when someone builds it out. Iphone is so lucky to have it available in the app store.. Very cool..

I've been using Skype occasionally on my Galaxy Tab when I'm too lazy get up and walk across the room to get my phone. Works great over the wifi. Also, I've tested it over 3g and same good results.

Just installed the sipgate app but I seem to get a lot of static on both wifi and 3g, fwiw. I also installed an app called Tango which is supposed to rival Skype and had good results, but ended up removing it because it seemed redundant.

For a while at least, it seem we have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to voip on our pda's and tablets.

Check it out on google play.
It works fairly well - less laggy than Groove IP. My android contact list shows up in the app, but I can't just click on the person's number to dial.
