MJP wont work?

My MJP will work USB but will not work via router?

ISP comcast 12/2
Router is BEFSR41 v4.1

Im lost here in my router settings ive opened the router through DMZ still i have no dial tone? Like i said it works USB but not via router? I did every thing the instructions said in how to plug in in..... need help...

Try bypassing your router and connect it directly to your modem and see if it works.

yea that didnt work either....my dongle internet and phone light dont lite up? plus my router port light doesnt lite either? im feelin that its broken from the factory....what i want to know do the dongle light lite up when use without computer...can anybody respond to this....i know my router port light should be lite....IM lost

I get a blue, green and orange light on my MJP when it's plugged into my router.

I am having a similar problem. The magicjack plus works fine when plugged into the USB port of my computer. However when I unplug it and plug it into the AC adapter it doesnt work. All the lights light up. I hear a dial tone and I hear the number tones but after thats all done all I get is dead air. I dont even hear a error message or anything like that. When I try to call to the MJ+ number on my cell phone it just says the magicjack customer is not available. This is the second magicjack plus I have. I bought one at walmart came home plugged it in registered and the unplugged it and pluged it into the AC adapter and it worked just great. Then the other day our phone wasnt working. So i looked at the magic jack. The blue LED light was just blinking and no other lights on it were lit. The router port light wasnt lit either. I got customer service to send me another one since I was under the 30 day trial. The replacement has never worked in stand alone mode which is why i got the mj+ to start with.

I tried hooking it up to the cable modem directly but I get the same thing. Dial tone... number tones dialing.. dead air.. I have been talking to customer support for ever about this. Anybody have any Ideas?? I have a SB5120 Motorola Modem with a D-Link DGL-4300 router.

can you give a update on yr replacement....I do believe they came bad from factoy....
