I noted on the web some have issues with CPU spiking when not in use, and sometimes it's related to older generation MJs. Under normal not in use conditions mine spikes to a couple of percent (low power cpu) every 4 seconds or so, and I've noted times when it was spiking to 50% or so (when not in use). Sometimes, when I call out utilizing my phone's redial, it looks like the phone stuffs two phone numbers in the MJ. The call does not go through; after a few seconds MJ goes to dial tone (recovers). I redial again, the call goes through fine. However, the MJ recovery is not clean - the cpu usage spikes go up almost an order of magnitude. Restarting MJ from the menu sets thing back to normal.
It's possible many of the "sometimes" issues many see are the result of MJ being sick, that a restart will correct. The only indication the MJ+ users may have is call does not go out --> dial tone.
Is this normal/expected behavior? Does MJ read this forum or is there a way to report bugs?
