Here's a puzzle.
I've been having issues with my internet connection (Time Warner). It occasionally (and unpredictably) disconnects, and moments or minutes later reconnects. This is not limited to my computer, but to all connected to my router, including my TV. (I've been trying to diagnose the issue, but that's not why I'm writing this).
It seems that when my computer has no access to the internet, my MJ+ still works. How is that possible?
Any ideas?
Stephen

When you say works, do you mean it has dial tone, or you can receive and make calls out? Just curious.sgreen0 wrote:It seems that when my computer has no access to the internet, my MJ+ still works. How is that possible?

Computer Disconnects from Internet when MJ+ phone rings...
Computer Disconnects from Internet when MJ+ phone rings, but I can talk on the phone. I am not able to do anything on computer online, my Wii disconnects, my Ruko disconnects but MJ+ still works. How do I fix this issue. I have spent hours and hours and hours on the chat with MJ support people. But to no avail. I really need to fix this. Anyone Please!

Did you by any chance hook a new cordless phone up to the mix when you installed the mj? Some are notorious for disconnecting the wireless on a router while in use.cherylgrams wrote:Computer Disconnects from Internet when MJ+ phone rings, but I can talk on the phone. I would try the changing the channel of your router first. I am sure it is currently set to "AUTO" I would try setting it to channel 1, 6, or 11, then save and reboot your router.. If that works you can save a few bucks by not buying a new phone. OF COURSE, if you are looking for an excuse to buy one?? There you go
Let me know how it works out for you.
As far as MJ support messing up your router settings ( WOW there is a shock) You can reset it back to its default settings to fix what they "fixed". Of course if you do that be sure to re do the channel settings.
