Normally I would say that I absolutely love MJ, but it does come with its problems and quirks...
I talked my mom into the MJ+ as mine seems to work flawlessly since I got it right after it came out. I connected it tonight and it cuts out terribly. She can hear people perfectly, but the person on the other end hears 5 words and skips 3 words. It has happened with several people, so I know it isn't one crazy phone line. I connected it via the router, as the modem didn't have anymore available ethernet ports. Any ideas what to try?

same problem----
This is driving me insane!! We can hear perfectly but the people on the other end can only hear a few words then drop outs a few more and more drop out??? please please tell me what the H*ll to do to fix this problem? and I hope people actually read this and reply thank you so much to whoever answers!! sincerely Virgil
Most Internet providers allow more bandwidth in the Download direction than upload, In this case the incoming voice sounds good but outgoing voice will chop or be broken.
Possible solutions are,
Increase Internet bandwidth if possible.
Use QoS firmware on router known as tomato.
Set MJ+ to 3G air card mode and test.
Do a VoIP quality / speed and jitter test on the connection.

I cannot get to the menu because a mj ad pop up keeps coming up in front of my soft phone when i x out of it my soft phone closes as well?????? what do i do about this so i can access my mj settings? thanx virgil
