Plugged in but MJ says it's not

My magicjack has worked satisfactorily for over two years now until recently. first thing to happen was that i was not getting a home phone dial tone; i would unplug and replug the device and that would fix it and i could talk for hours.

these days my call drops after a few minutes and a mj splash screen pops up saying my device is unplugged which of course is not the case.

so far i have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers(i have windows 7 64-bit) and this does not help. then i uninstalled the program with revo uninstaller to get the registry entries out..........but.........it does not remove the reg. entries at localmachine/system/currentcontrolset/enum/USBSTOR. there is a folder there that i am unable to delete because i dont have permission; when i try and change the permissions for that reg entry i am denied.............i was hoping ......maybe....if i could COMPLETELY remove magicjack that a reinstall might work to fix it.

this is my only phone......please help

I would do an install on a friend's/relative's computer. If the issues are replicated, it could be your device is going bad.
