Vonage phone

Post by poheryma »

How can you use Vonage in India since they have different powers there?
I have been using Vonage for many years now in few months I am going to India for 3-4 months. I read we can use Vonage in India but I know in US and India the power ( voltage) are different so where can I plug the box for power?

Since this is a MAGIC JACK forum and not a Vonage forum, I COULD tell you where you can plug the power, but then I am a gentleman and won't.

1. Google is your friend
2. You find out the voltage in India
3.You check the voltage range of your Vonage power adapter

A. If it covers the Indian voltage, you buy an plug adapter in order for the U.S. plug to fit into an outlet in India.
B. If it does not, you buy a transformer and an adapter plug in order for the transformer plug to fit into an Indian outlet.

I am helping you because you are already punished enough by using Vonage while you can get equally good VOIP provider for a fraction of the costs.
