Magic Jack Plus.... they didn't add my one year

I ordered the Magic Jack Plus and talked to a online chat representative about transferring the remaining years of my current contract AND having the 1 year ADDED to my account...... I asked SPECIFICALLY .... Would I have the one year that comes with the purchase ADDED ...... the agent said in plain English....... Yes David.


Yet once I got it the NEXT agent said it wouldn't be added that it was for new subscribers only.....

The only problem is ..... I took a SCREEN SHOT of the agent that told me I would have the one year added.......

Now I want my one year added.....

How do I get my one year added.

I did not pay an extra $44.96 just to have it plug into my router.

Lets see how long it takes them to resolve this issue.

This is bad customer service in my book.

You paid a reduced price for the hardware minus the 1 year extension. Dan learned that little trick from his friends down the road at nettalk.

I purchased a 5 year contract with MJ and posted a $20 deposit for international calls. MJ cancelled me after only one year. I sent transaction records but these were ignored. I then contacted the Florida attorney General and after a couple of months got a call from a rather humble MJ representative offering an extra year bonus and restored service. I then got a letter from the state of Florida asking me for information and receipts. I think this would be a great time to contact the Florida att gen with complaints. It seems they are contemplating legal action.
