MJ Power Supply Specs

Post by roving »

What are the output voltage and amperage specs for the small MJ+ power supply? I have others that are for connecting to USB and thought I might try them to see if my power supply was the problem that I mention in my very recent post about losing my internet connection at the power supply. One that I have is 5 volts AC at .5 amps. The one for my iPad id 5.1V at 2.1 amps (10 watts). Which would be the best one to try?

Thank you very much. MJ sent me a new power supply and MJ module. So far two days and no problems, but I'm holding my breath

MJ Power Supply Failure

Post by luke391 »

I have the older model but my mother-in-law has the Plus version. Her phone stopped working and she asked me to check it out. When I plug the MJ directly into the computer... it works... if I plug it in the powersupply and try to use it that way, her phone says "Check Tel Line. So I'm assuming the power supply has failed. I have left it in the USB port on the computer. Where can I find one of those power supplies or a generic replacement? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can get a replacement MJ+ a.c. adapter from MJ by going online, starting a live help chat, telling them the a.c. adapter stopped working and request a replacement be sent. Last I heard they were offering one free replacement per MJ+ device.
