anonymous and specific # blocking...

would like to be able to block certain numbers and anonymous calls. i'm using the Magic Features plugin to do this now, but it would be great to have the functionality directly in Magic Jack itself.

they're already storing my contacts. don't see why they wouldn't be able to also store numbers i insert to block.

i just bought an MJ+ that i'd rather plug directly into the wall as opposed to my computer. but i can't do that and still have the # blocking.

I think mJ may be blocking all anonymous calls currently.

If you are looking for mJ to add the feature to block certain #s from the web portal, you will probably be waiting a long time since they don't seem very concerned with additional features. The only option right now is using magicFeatures with a computer attached mJ.

That's sad even Google Voice which is free allows you to do this actually GV has a LOT more features the MJ and Nett Duo!

I just tried the GV block call and it is cool ... it used the phone co. this # is no longer in service message ... sweet ...

Additionally, I tried calling MJ and spent an hour on the line listening to a caned msg. from that yo-yo who does their infomercials........ A cust. service person never came to the phone as was stated in the caned msg. What a joke of a company. I understand the price is fair, but they could offer just a little tech support. At this point hey offer nothing what so ever as far as i'm concerned.[/quote]

Magicfeature for has 20 new feature for magicjack and Magicjack Plus that works great, well aleast for me.
