New computer with Win7 Magicjack wont work
My MJ used to work fine on my XP machine, but now on my new Win7 64bit computer, when I plug in the magicjack, I still see the new removable drive pop up, then windows tells me I need to format the drive, however I can still see the MJ icons on the drive letter it made, i click on MJ, I get the usual 'Patience for lifetime of savings, but runs a long time, until that turns in red letters and says 'you must plug in your magicjack in the USB port) duh, it is in the USB port, got the drive letter and clicked on the MJ icon... So, what should I do?

Maybe something got glitched during the install. Try d/l'ing the MJREMOVER program from thier web page and try again. Unplug the MJ, run the program and after all done, reboot and plug the MJ back in and see what happens. Maybe your USB port on the new PC is not supplying the proper voltage the MJ needs. Be sure to use a rear USB port not one in front of the PC.geotec wrote:My MJ used to work fine on my XP machine, but now on my new Win7 64bit computer, when I plug in the magicjack, I still see the new removable drive pop up, then windows tells me I need to format the drive, however I can still see the MJ icons on the drive letter it made, i click on MJ, I get the usual 'Patience for lifetime of savings, but runs a long time, until that turns in red letters and says 'you must plug in your magicjack in the USB port) duh, it is in the USB port, got the drive letter and clicked on the MJ icon...
