Hello, strange problem: I try to pay to renew my MJ+ subscription and it always says avs error. I spent 3 hours with the chat suport and of course, they did nothing. The problem is not with my card because I can see that visa has billed my card, but it stays a pending transaction ( good thing because there are about 20 try!).
I live in canada if it makes a difference. I was so frustrated, I went a bought a nettalk duo, but I would have loved to keep my old number and frankly, the MJ+ worked way better than the nettalk for me. anyone have a possible solution?

- The name and address that you have on file for your MagicJack account must match the name and address that's on file with your credit card EXACTLY, otherwise you get that AVS (Address Verification Service) error message. This is a fraud prevention mechanism of VISA and MasterCard.
Normally, under such circumstances the charge will only be posted to your credit card as a "pending transaction" (for however long your card issuer tends to keep unfinalized/unverified transactions posted as a "pending transaction") but will not be able to be finalized.
So my advice is to double-check that the full name and address on both accounts match each other EXACTLY.
If the problem persists, I suggest that you call your card issuer for advice as a manual override on their and/or MJ's part may be necessary. And your card issuer may need to double-check to make sure that the address that they have on file for your cc account is the exact address that the AVS sub-contractor that it uses for such purposes has on file... sometimes their AVS service provider has a slightly incorrect or old address on file.
