I've wondered about this. Using an ASUS RT-N16 with Tomato USB and having a reasonable cable connection behind a Motorola SurfBoard 6121, I am not even sure port forwarding is necessary at all. And if you have two magicJack devices, it becomes pointless to port-forward, since only one device would get preference, but two are still served. It seems this really may be a waste of time for modern routers.
But is there a way to do it?
