Dropped incoming voice after exactly 15 minutes

My old style MP+ has developed an interesting annoyance. At exactly 15 minutes to the second, it stops delivering the incoming voice, but the person on the other end stills hears the outgoing conversation. Being rather one sided, you soon figure out that half the conversation is missing. Hanging up and redialing fixes things to normal. Anybody else having this issue too? Most of my conversations are ended long b4 15 minutes so this could have been going on for a while. And finally, not all incoming calls experience this behavior, just some.

Have you:
1. Rebooted your router?
2. Rebooted your modem?
3. Rebooted your magicJack plus?

Sometimes these three things clear up a world of problems.

Actually I have done none of the above, and also haven't plugged the MJ+ into the computer for at least a year so it may not be up to date either. So in the spirit of shotgun hunting, I'll do all of those items and see if it makes any difference. Best I can say is that it is not the router settings, they remain unchanged and this problem is relatively new.

If it's been over a year, it's entirely possible your magicJack needs a USB-connected firmware update.

For sure the MJ+ once plugged into the computer happily announced it was doing an update. And for good measure I did the power down/up routine for the modem, router and MJ+ too. As few of my calls run 15 minutes, it may take months to detect if it made any difference, but my initial test using Google voice for 15 minutes sez the problem is gone.... Time will tell.
