Porting from MagicJack experience?

Post by mh1983 »

Hi all,

Has anyone successfully ported out of MJ/MJ+ to another service provider? I've read some horror stories regarding extra charges and other delays, but that was awhile back. Wondering how the process is these days and if anyone can relay their experience.

Would be appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: Can others let me know where call forwarding stands now? I remember posts about it being a paid feature all of a sudden, although I see the option in my MJ account portal and no mention of cost. I ask because I'm currently forwarding my MJ number to my other VoIP setup and want to make sure I don't have any surprises (inasmuch as this is possible with MJ). Thanks!

haven't ported myself, but with my years of experience with this site, people come to complain, not give success stories, so the lack of any bad porting posts tells me it's working well these days :)
