GE cordless phone low volume

Hi all, I have installed our MJ Go directly to our router and to our GE 28300 2-in-1 internet phone as we turn off our desktop when not in use. Callers can hear us, but we cannot hear them well. I have tried it with our old analog phone and the sound is fine. What can I do to optimize the sound? I have tried a different phone cord to no avail. I have gone on MJ lengthy chat to no avail either. They had me remove the batteries, and unplug everything and then reconnect. What else can I try. Tx
