I want to use my MagicJack number as a SIP Trunk connected to my FreePBX/Asterisk phone system.
I have read and tried so many guides, mainly from 2008-2010, but nothing seems to work.
It looks like in 2008 it was as simple as dumping your memory and finding the SIP Credentials. Then it was updated in 2010, but it was cracked again and just required an MD5 hash of the SIP credentials + the proxy name.
Is there any current solution?
The device I have is the 2013 MagicJack Plus (stand-alone unit, doesnt require PC)
My current solution is I have the MagicJack PSTN line plugged into a SPA3102 which transcodes it back to IP for use with my IP Phones, but its so stupid that MagicJack transcodes from IP to Analog and then I transcode from Analog to IP
If you have any info, let me know
Thanks
MagicJack SIP Trunk - is it possible anymore?
