I have used MJ for years and really liked the use of the APP as well as the actual unit, it has been great for a mobile lifestyle but this has been herendous recently. I got android and dumped the iphone and the APP says I dont have an active device when I try to log on. I got with the customer support chat and was told they would fix it in a few hours, three days later I tried to log on again with the APP. The MJ site doesnt work in firefox, in edge it has to be full screen to work.
I got back on to chat support. And this happened:

chris: I had an iPhone i use the app and it worked great. i just switched to an android phone and when i try to log on from the android it says i don't have and active device. i have a MJ plus that is subscribed until 2021

Sonya: As of now you cannot add magicAPP subcriptions. You may only use the ones already in your account. We are aware of this and we are working on this. You can chat back to us from time to time to check for update/s.
However, if you are using the same type of OS you can select an existing magicAPP subscription. Log out of your magicApp and log back in. Please make sure to use your magicApp credentials (e.g. the email and phone number tied to your magicApp subscription). When you log back in, select the active magicAPP that is in your account.
Sonya: If you have other /separate magicjack account, you can register your andriod phone there.

Now, I will have to forward a report to our engineers for them to deactivate the mj app on iphone and right back to you via email @@@@@@@@@@@@ once it has been done.

WOW! all that for - If you get a new phone you cant use the APP!! Are you kidding??? People get new phones every other year!!!
It would seem simple to me to make the phones unregisterable at the web site so you could then register your new phone. It would also seem this should have been thought of in the beginning, knowing how often phones are changed.
Dumped iphone for android - now cant use MJ app
