Retrieved passwords on 20th.. worked for 4 days

I retreived my passwords for all three of my magic jacks after my ATAs would not register on the 20th and I was up for about 4 days.

Tonight all of my MJ numbers do not register again. When I try to retrieve the passwork I can find them. I have been running MJPROXY for a year on my DD-WRT. I program the new PW into that and into my PAP2Ts. Still they do not register. I have been through this before in September, but I was able to get the numbers running again.

I have repeatedly dumped the passwords tonight and they change each time I dump them. Anyone else having this issue?

same issue here, kurtrad.
it seems the password is reset every time the magicjack client unregisters from the magicjack servers.
not sure how mjmd5/mjproxy users will get around this one.

i honestly don't understand what magicjack expects to accomplish from this.. less customers? my service is about to end soon, i don't think i will be renewing.

Same here, plugged in dongle last week to update service (stupid, should have done it online) and now I can't register with my PAP2. After the update, I was able to pull a new password and user name and it worked for a couple days. Tonight...DONE. Random passwords every time. Sucks because I JUST renewed last week.

I agree, what is MJ trying to prove? They know how to lose customers? The first year I had MJ the quality through the dongle was so bad that I set out to find a better alternative. Hence the ATA. Now I'm forced to use an inferior product.

Why not charge an extra $5 a year for use with an ATA, they'd make more money and spend less money fighting us! Must be part of the gubament!

I have not plugged in my dongle in a while now and can assure that my password has now been changed since Sunday 10/24. This is the first change in well over a year, ever since mjmd5 was born.

I have high hopes that the experts here will lick this and provide an exploit but I'm having my doubts that it will get figured out in the next week or so, which is about the time it took to discover 'noonce'/mjmd5.
