MJ & Windows 2000

hey all, sure enuf i tried to use this new mj with my win2000 web server. and it don't work... I've been lookin all over for a solution and only found the post about changing a few bytes with a hex editor. which I've tried and its not working.

so the ? is, does that still work? or is there any other way i can make this thing run on win2000?

hasn't worked with win2k since 2008.
Minimum requirement is now WinXP SP2

hmmm, ok..

then, has anyone had any luck using mj on winxp running within a virtual machine? i could run xp in virtualbox on this win2k box...
