How to contact magicJack
Moderator: admin
I've never had a problem renewing.. I've renewed two within the last three months using https://web07.magicjack.com/my/login.html
Login with your e-mail address or phone number and the password you setup. Click on the subscriptions 'tab' and click on 'Details' where it mentions renewing.
I readily admit that they don't treat their customers all that well. A company, especially one offering phone service, IMO should have a phone number you can call for support. In a perfect world whether it be online or via telephone customer service reps should be polite and do their best to resolve whatever issue the customer is facing. This is certainly one of the negative aspects of using MJ and likely will not change in the near future unfortunately.

I have been trying to port my MJ number away to another carrier (callcentric) and after two months and 6 rejections due to "address/zip code" mismatch I am getting very frustrated. MJ support gives me different info everytime I ask them what address to use.
But I did come across this after googling for a way to contact YMAX directly:
MagicJack will provide the correct information to you if you email them at [email protected] and ask them for the address of record for your telephone number as stated on your Customer Service Record (CSR). They are not required to give the information to us, and they have not published it anywhere we can retrieve it.
If they are less than helpful, you can file an FCC consumer complaint. The FCC requires all carriers in the United States to make all telephone numbers portable. Link to FCC Consumer Complaint Form http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
You can also contact your local office of the Public Utilities Commission (PUC).

Along with this email address:

You can also try this email address:

I am at least getting responses back, although they keep telling me that my new carrier needs to request the CSR, which of course they won't provide to them either... but I will keep harrassing them until they do.
I have already filed an FCC complaint here:
