Wire MJ to Back Feed all Outlets in House

Guys, I can't seem to find any info about how to setup MJ to back feed all my phone outlets in my house. I would like to get them active so my alram system could use the MJ to call me if it is triped. Is there some detail insructions on how to set this up. I assume I will have to go to the phone box on the side of the house and find the outlet were my MJ is connected then splice that into the other lines. My only concern is I have DSL in my house so I assume I will need to also find that line and make sure DSL line coming in is connected to that one outlet were my Modem is connected. I think right now the way it is wired my DSL line is spliced into all my outlets so I could connect my modem to any outlet in the house and have DSL. Is there anything I'm missing and will this work if it;s done correctly?

Even if you are able to isolate your dsl signal to a single pair and then use the other pair to feed the outlets in your house, you are embarking on a very dangerous path. Relying on MJ to support your alarm system will be about as effective as a 19 year old deaf, dumb and blind Chihuahua chasing away a determined burglar. look at a low cost POTS line or a cellular solution to handle your alarm system.

I understandard that the MJ is not the best solution for my alram, but currenlty I don't have any phone line connected. Which where I live is not uncommon since it takes the cops/emt 30 min+ to get there. I program my alram to call me and my family which live fairly close. I just thought if it was something simple I might hook it up. The Alram system main goal is a deterant with it's very loud almost can't stand in the house siren . I have Inductuve Amplifier that I can use to ring out the lines to find the one my modem is connect to I giyess them I would need to make sure the line provide by ATT is only connected to this pair. Would I need to do anything on the MJ side our once DSL is off the jacks will it work?

Yes, if you know how to properly isolate your DSL pair, then pumping MJ through the house should work for most situations.

As long as you're aware of the potential reliability issues with VOIP and MJ, you should be able to get what you want.

Someone else has mentioned that he was using MJ for his alarm. The problem is that I don't remember if it was in here or over on DSLReports. If you can find the post, shouldn't be too hard, you might get more info from that or my contacting the poster.

Edit: You are a brave soul though. I get scared just relying on MJ to get a dial tone when I pick up the phone.
