Mj disconnects other pc's in house when phone rings...help!!

How can I stop being disconnected from another Pc , other then the one MJ is connected to, whenever a call comes in? Help this is very annoying.

More than likely you are using a 2.4 mhz cordless phone, which happens to be the same freq. your wireless router is.. You have 2 choices. Get a new phone ( which is NOT 2.4 mhz, 5.8ghz, DECT 6) or log into your router and change it's address ( channel).

Very astute observation Bro Joe, but....I think the user will be better served if the term CHANNEL or frequency is used in this case. If they change the address, Lord knows what further questions we will be pummeled with. (Providing they can get an internet xion after that)

Good point................... Plus I will type slower from now on too, as maybe some on here do not read very fast
