All outgoing call - fast busyX3 then dead

Hello Y'all

Today when I have tried to make outgoing calls - they end up being a fast busy (3 tones) then it goes dead...Anybody else having this problem?

You and all of us are having this issue. The only work around is to get a FREE Google Voice number and use it and your MJ phone to make your calls to the affected areas.

YES and NO... I just tired to make 3 calls and ALL of them had 3 fast busy signals and then nothing. So that means either all my numbers are now blocked, unlikely, OR MJ is having server problems. If that is the case I am sure it will clear up in a few hrs..
Others will chime in here if they are having server issues making calls..
So keep an eye out here in the forum..

UPDATE: I just tried my calls again and now they all go through!! So give it a try again and see if they now work for you...

Same trouble here in Atlanta on any number I call.

They must be working on their servers.
SOMETIMES when it is wide spread like this it means they are getting ready for another "lucky you" update!!! OH JOY!!!

For me the malfunction began at 3:32:34pm EST when I was on a call that had lasted 1:00:13 and I got one loud tone then a disconnect. My callee probably can't get back to me either as I believe he would've tried. This is why I visited. dslreports had no thread yet.

What you are describing is a CLASSIC MagicJack time limit on a call, a few seconds after a nice rounded call time. Usually after a few minutes the call goes through again. And GoogleVoice is my preferred way around the call limit issue.

Everything working again, no busy signals. Now, if we can just get rid of all this snow and ice here in the Sunny South!!

I'm having this same problem. My girlfriend just got a new cell phone the other day and whenever I call it, it beeps 3 times then disconnects. The weird thing is her new phone has the same area code as her old one, and I'm still able to call her old cell phone and get through without a problem. This has been an issue for 2 to 3 days now. Hopefully it will let up very soon, but it's very annoying and inconvenient.

Sad to say probably not... Chances are, yes, the area code is the same but I bet the exchange is not.. ( the next 3 numbers)The ONLY whole area code MJ blocks is Alaska.
The only way around it is to get a free Google voice # and have it tied to your MJ#./.
