No Output Audio XP Box

Post by Route66 »

Magicjack worked flawlessly for a week or so..then I was forced to reboot my XP box and now my magicjack wont work. Everytime it comes up with the 'no output audio' error and I am unable to toggle between telephone & headset. When I try dialing on my phone it shows up on the screen..then on the last digit the 'no output audio' error pops up. I am stumped. I've uninstalled & reinstalled magicjack...ran magicfix, update, and recovery (Which didnt work said it couldnt find the magicjack device). i've tried different usb ports...and im lost as to what else to try. Any suggestions? THis is all on an XP box...

I had that happen a couple of weeks ago, I had to un-install the usb driver for the MJ in hardware manager, then when I re-booted it found the device and installed it and it worked .
Don't know if you tried that route or not..My 2 cents

Might try a system restore to just b4 the reboot and see if that helps. When you say "forced " to reboot what does that mean? Some type of computer error or update? Had the computer not been rebooted at all while the jack was working?
