ECO,NOISE SOLUTION AVAILABLE

Post by banaa007 »

I was getting echo, noise since more than one month when I use prepaid card with MJ. Today I just went http://www.tjnet.com/software/index.htm and loaded echo cancellation utility.
Now I tried again international number using prepaid card,I did not find and noise, eco during the conversation.
If someone wants to try.
Another this software which I loaded on my pc recognize the MJ because same company made it and software recognized the MJ.
When downloaded the software you have to enable the software: on the bottom right tray it will show green,if you take out the MJ from your pcit will be white.
I hope this the the solution for echo, noise, poor call quality.

banaa007,

Tell me some more. Did it work well any problems etc. I have always wanted to try it but did not have big enough... well you know. So I will have to live vicariously thru your bravery.

Convince me it is a good thing to do, it made your MJ sound better, talk farther, louder and whisper sweat nothings in your ear.

First of all when software recognize the hardware and it shows that this is compaitable, this means first step is done.
Now I made four international calls where I was getting problem, but it went flawless,no noise, no call delay, no echo; you when you use prepaid card this means your call is being routed from a lot of networks then we get our destination.
By the way you are not installing on the Mj,you are installing on your pc.It worked the best.
I think new hardware which is being shipped is more stable which I bought in Dec,2007.
You can use it if works then good,if not then remove from your pc.This echo utility is not going to mess up your Mj software or hardware.

It works good to remove echo-I also use Hawking Broadband booster to get clear calls-they work well together.

banaa007 & Saxman,

OK I did try it but was unsure of what I was doing so I removed it. But after re-reading your posts I am going to give it another try just as soon as my daughter gets home from work.

I had convinced my self that I didn't here that much improvement and that it might cause problems with the new units that SUPPOSEDLY have it built in. But you guys seem so convinced that it improves things that is is definitely worth another try. I is not like it is a big effort to install it and remove it if it seems to cause a problem with the new units.

But I will say this, the new unit in a conversation with my daughter last night there was a very slight echo on my own voice but you really had to concentrate to here it. One problem with testing this stuff is that some days (and for periods of several days I have absolutely no echo at all.)

Regards,

PS - you to are good salesman - "Works too good to remove" now who wouldn't bite on that line. :D

I installed the TJ Echo Cancelling software, and I have not had echo for some time now. Works great! Highly recommend installing it.

Cheers!

I was not experiencing significant echo at all, at least on my end. If I called my friend with a Vonage line, he said he echoed horribly, and since, of course, he's paying much more for Vonage than I pay for my mJ, he blamed it all on me...

But, because I'm inquisitive like that, I installed this software anyway. I get a red icon in my taskbar, and nothing ever happens with it. I've plugged and replugged my mJ, and restarted it, etc. The version of mJ I have is the mysterious "3rd" hardware version, not the 2 mentioned by the OP in the other thread. Perhaps my echo cancellation stuff is already built in, so this software doesn't help.

Oh well. Removing it can't hurt anything now, since it doesn't do diddly on my setup.
