Outage last night till late afternoon.
"24 hour tech support chat" is between a joke and a farce.
My adaptor, and THREE OTHERS, 3 in Pittsburgh area (2 in 412(differant exchanges) and one in 724)
and one around Toronto CaNaDa (917 number). Support kept telling me to run the fix, and to plug
into another USB port. Would not listen to the fact that 3 of us are voip and unix/pc professionals.
and are on 4 separate pc's and feeds and 2 countries! At 1:18am they promised that a tier-2
support person would be sending me e-mail very soon. IT NEVER ARRIVED
Given that I had my adaptor/service like 6 days, I was HOT. I talked to them again about 3pm and
after being told to change usb, magicfix, and all their hooplah, and about 10 tims saying REFUND
, RMA, MONEY BACK, and "do you understand REFUND?" (btw, they have never answered the
basic test to check for live human of "what is two plus two?") They finally gave me an RMA
auth. I told them I would give it a little while (my target was midnight) before I pack it up
and send it back. About 2 hours later the forwards and inbounds came back, but VM was still hosed.
Transmit audio is still low, seems to be endemic to this generation of adaptors.

Or posts to www.voipcoop.org are welcome, we're mostly asterisk/freepbx/etc but all are welcome.
Outages? (Outage 04/09/08 14-16hours, inbound, all areas?)
