2 issues with MJ !!

Hi,
Just purchased MJ & using for 2 months or more on 3 different PC(2 laptops & server desktop).
Yes can make calls & recieve them BUT,
1) when I am away in another room I don't hear any one calling on MJ -
therefore how to enable voice rings or get a sound file everytime MJ rings??
2)When making calls I can hear the other person fine but he/she complains they are unable to hear my voice or it is so faint that I need to shout out ??

#1. Are you using the phone or just the softphone? If it is the phone turn the ringer up. The softphone . . . turn your speakers up. I do not know of anyway to change the ringer sound file. There may be a way . . . I just do not know of it. If you find a way to do this . . . please post it on this thread. I would love my MagicJack to ring to: "Tig Ol' Bitties".

#2. Click Menu on the softphone. Then go to Volume/Headset Control. Up at the top click the device you are using (Telephone or Headset). And move the slide bar on the Microphone section to the right. It will up your mic gain and allow the other person to hear you better.
