My problem is intermittent. It happens sometimes and sometimes it does not. I have checked that the sound and volume are turned up so that isn't the problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling MagicJack and it just doesn't help. I've run upgrades, etc... and nothing seems to fix this problem.
The problem is that on an incoming or outgoing call SOMETIMES there will be no audio, but the other person can hear me. I can pick up the phone plugged into the MagicJack and I hear a dial tone, but when I dial, it says it is calling but I don't hear any ringing. However, the person on the other end can hear me and the call obviously goes through. I can't hear them.
I've found that sometimes if I click on 3G mode it will work properly, but usually only for one or two calls, and then it goes back to no sound again for me. Sometimes I'll go to sleep and wake up the next morning and it will work... but two calls later, it won't work again.
I have DMZ set up to my computer... ports are accessible... none of the obvious things seem to be the problem. What's weird though is if I plug it into another computer, it will work... at least for a while... and then it will do the same thing on that one, with no audio.
What is going on here?
