I installed Magicfeatures trial. Magicjackplus plugged into my computers USB. Loaded magicfeatures as administrator. My account is administrator. Allowed any firewall pop-ups.
Little phone icon in the lower right appeared, it is gray. Restarted Magic jack, did not help. Restarted computer, no help. Update check on magicfeatures, no help. Features dashboard is greyed out.
Magicfeatures says to plug in and start MJ...it is running and I can make calls.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

I have none, other than to try their forum:Caryc wrote: Suggestions?

The guy who runs MagicFeatures is usually pretty good on getting back with answers.
Hope it ends up working for you. I think it's a great product, and would be the one thing that would keep me from upgrading to the Plus.
Edit: Oh crap, I just noticed you actually mentioned the Plus. MagicFeatures won't work with the new Plus per their forum:

That sounds right. The Magicfeatures Plugin is designed to work with a regular magicJack.
So far most people that are buying the more expensive magicJack PLUS don't plan to use it with a computer. For the latter case, the regular magicJack is still available in mass quantity on local store shelves and it is about half the price.
Unless there is a very major market shift and the demand is really significant, we have no plans to invest in the additional development required to support our plugins when a magicJack PLUS is plugged into a computer.
